Paris, October 30, 2024 - Exavision, a subsidiary of Ineo Defense, an Equans entity in France, has chosen EURONAVAL 2024, the international event dedicated to naval technology and maritime defense, to present SEAMOS- LR-10K, a new multi-sensor EO/IR solution for long-range observation and surveillance of ships and maritime carriers.
This new, more powerful HD-cooled thermal camera will enable us to anticipate potential threats earlier, by observing them from further away.
The range SEAMOS, composed of SEAMOS-MR-5K (presented at EURONAVAL 2022) and the new SEAMOS- LR-10Kwas developed by Exavision, a French company specializing in medium- and long-range naval optronics solutions.
The solution SEAMOS is compatible with the SEASENS. This, combined with classification algorithms, enhances the product offering by enabling potential threats to be identified and tracked. It meets the needs of shipyards and end-customers who want robust, high-performance solutions with optimized cost of ownership.
The software, which includes DeepSight AIThe Socket Web interface enables system control and monitoring, recording of video and detected events via the Web server user interface, and simplified integration with CMS and third-party equipment (e.g. radar, AIS systems, non-lethal acoustic end-effectors).
DeepSight AI is a versatile software module designed for real-time image enhancement and automatic tracking of specific targets. By detecting and tracking potential threats, this innovative solution considerably enhances the product, making it an essential tool in a variety of applications.

The range SEAMOS offers a naval optronic unit integrated on a 2-axis gyrostabilized turret, comprising :
- A visible HD camera with continuous optical zoom,
- An eye-safe laser rangefinder,
- A thermal imaging camera with continuous optical zoom:
- An uncooled VGA thermal imaging camera (LWIR, band III) for SEAMOS-MR-5K, enabling recognition of small targets (2.3 m x 2.3 m) at 5 km.
- A cooled HD thermal imaging camera (MWIR, band II) for SEAMOS-LR-10K, enabling recognition of small targets (2.3 m x 2.3 m) at 10 km.
The strengths of the range SEAMOS are as follows:
- Dual-axis gyro-stabilized line-of-sight with additional digital stabilization of
image,
- Automatic detection and real-time video tracking of airborne and surface targets, including UAVs and USVs,
- For marine, civil and military applications,
- French manufacturing: a solution designed and manufactured in France, with no export restrictions linked to a third country.
Thanks to its intuitive interface SEASENS and advanced tracking capabilities with DeepSight AI, SEAMOS enables operators to easily monitor and respond to threats, improving safety and operational efficiency. Whether used in maritime environments or other critical applications, this range of solutions is a reliable choice for those who demand excellence in image processing and target tracking.
"French optronics designer and manufacturer for nearly 35 years, specializing in solutions from monitoring, from protection and to meet the new requirements of its customers in maritime surveillance and anti-drone projects, areas in which Exavision is a recognized partner for leading systems integration companies", explains Marc Brun, General Manager of Exavision, a subsidiary of Ineo Defense.
"Exavision is stepping up the marketing of new optronic solutions based on the latest technology. technology from tip for improve safety and efficiency at sea. By expanding our range, we aim to establish partnerships with maritime authorities and organizations to make waters safer and ensure compliance with international regulations. Join us in shaping the future of maritime safety with Exavision's expertise and vision", concludes Augustin Bareau, Deputy General Manager of Ineo Defense, part of Equans France.
