Visit Human Resources Committee is the latest of GICAT's seven plenary commissions. Its mission is to bring together the land sector's "HR Community".
Following the success of "Operation Careers" at the Eurosatory show in June 2018, GICAT decided to structure its action from April 2019 around a dedicated Working Group. After a year's work, this group became a plenary commission in April 2020.
It focuses on three main areas:
- Helping GICAT companies with their recruitment needs. In the short term, by offering services and directly connecting candidates and companies. In the longer term, by developing training offers and formalizing contacts with the relevant players, notably the educational and academic worlds.
- Promote the attractiveness and diversity of jobs in the land-based sector. GICAT's role is to promote the sector's activities and trades at dedicated events, as part of its lobbying efforts.
- Helping HR staff at GICAT companies in their work. By exchanging best practices among its members and regularly inviting guest speakers to its meetings, the committee enables HR to benefit from other areas of expertise.
