EXAVISION, a brand of Equans France and subsidiary of Ineo Defense, has chosen the international MILIPOL Paris 2025 trade show to unveil its latest innovation: NEMOSYS-NXT, a new generation of long-range observation systems incorporating on-board artificial intelligence capabilities.
EXAVISION today unveils NEMOSYS-NXT, a new range of multi-sensor optronic solutions designed for automatic recognition, identification and video detection of sea, land and air targets, even in the most demanding environments. NEMOSYS-NXT is based on the proven performance of the existing NEMOSYS range, and has been developed through a process of continuous innovation and listening to customer feedback.
What's new in NEMOSYS-NXT
A true breakthrough in EXAVISION's optronics know-how, NEMOSYS-NXT has been completely redesigned to offer greater ease of use, seamless system integration and simplified maintenance, guaranteeing optimum performance and reliability in real-life operating conditions.
Its distinguishing features include :
🔹 Optimized EO/IR (electro-optical and infrared optronics) performance :
- A visible/near-infrared camera with continuous optical zoom (up to 2000 mm) and optical image stabilization (OIS),
- A high-definition cooled thermal camera
(MWIR) with continuous optical zoom up to 1200 mm,
- An optional laser rangefinder, compliant with eye safety standards,
- A high-precision 2-axis gyrostabilized turret, integrating AI inference and video tracking modules.
🔹 Automated detection and tracking using AI, reducing
the operator's workload.
🔹 Full integration fi the EXAVISION software suite :
- EXACORE, for advanced EO/IR system control, multi-user access and dynamic equipment supervision,
- DeepSight_AI, using tried-and-tested AI models and enriched image databases to
transform the system into a genuine intelligent optronic radar.
🔹 A system :
- Designed and manufactured in France, with no export restrictions linked to third countries,
- Simplified integration and maintenance, with local support and optimized return-to-service time.
🔹 Areas of application :
- Protection of sensitive sites and critical infrastructures,
- Land, coastal and maritime surveillance (including VTS),
- Drone control and applications C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems).
