Paris, November 12, 2025- In the face of rapidly evolving threats - terrorism, cyber attacks, organized crime, critical infrastructure protection - France is asserting its position as a major player in global security. On the occasion of the Milipol Paris 2025, the GICAT (Groupement des Industries françaises de Défense et de Sécurité terrestres et aéroterrestres) brings together some of the most innovative French companies in the sector.
A pavilion dedicated to sovereignty and technological innovation
In the heart of Hall 5A, the GICAT pavilion brings together over twenty French manufacturers, SMEs, ETIs and start-ups, embodying the dynamism and diversity of the security sector: optronics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, CBRN detection, anti-drone, secure communication, geolocation, mobile infrastructures, ballistic protection and mine clearance.
These companies all share the same ambition: design and produce sovereign, exportable and interoperable technologies in France, We offer a full range of solutions for security forces, vital operators and public institutions.

GENERATE: spotlight on the next generation of French technology
Alongside established manufacturers, the GICAT pavilion and the Milipol Lab area in Hall 4 will be showcasing 12 start-ups in the GENERATE program, the GICAT innovation gas pedal created in 2017. A pioneering label in the world of defense and security, GENERATE accompanies today nearly 70 young companies from the civilian sector, selected for their breakthrough technologies in the service of the armed forces.
About GICAT
Created in 1978, the GICAT, professional group, brings together more than 480 French manufacturers in the sector. Its program GENERATE over the past 8 years, has become a strategic accelerator for French dual-use start-ups, including Preligens, Numalis, Diodon or Aerix Systems, now members of GICAT. A unique initiative, supported by government ministries and French Tech, to accelerate the rise of French SuvTech.
