Created at the instigation of France Industrie in June 2022 to represent industrial start-ups and scale-ups, Start Industrie is strengthening its organization and broadening its scope by taking the form of a legal association. GICAT's start-up gas pedal, GENERATE, joins the new governance in the person of its manager, Hubert Raymond, elected to the Board of Directors alongside managers and representatives of 14 start-ups, scale-ups and associations.
Yesterday's inaugural General Meeting anchored the ambition of building tomorrow's industry together, amplifying their advocacy, expanding the ecosystem and building reference tools for the benefit of the companies they represent.
" The challenges of reindustrialization and the ecological and digital transformation of our economy call for a sustained dialogue with our entire ecosystem, including public authorities and major private stakeholders. Our mission is to ensure that the economic, legislative and administrative environment is conducive to the emergence and sustainability of the innovative solutions offered by the young companies we represent. At a time when access to financing is becoming tighter and economic competition is intensifying, Start Industrie is determined to expand its actions to defend the interests of French industrial start-ups and scale-ups. " said Antoine Hubert, elected Chairman at the Annual General Meeting.
In the coming months, Start Industrie will continue its efforts to support the dynamics of new industrial projects carried out by the 1,900 start-ups whose voice it represents:
- The representative organization will continue to monitor the effective deployment of France 2030, the Green Industry Act, Tibi 2 and the recommendations of MP Paul Midy.
- It will step up its advocacy of financing through the mobilization of private funds and its support for start-ups in difficulty.
