Versailles, September 18, 2023 - Under the patronage of the French Minister of the Armed Forces, the 18th edition of the FED (Forum Entreprises Défense) will be held on Wednesday October 4 and Thursday October 5, 2023. This is a major event bringing together the main state and industrial players in land-based maintenance.
Organized by the SIMMT (Structure intégrée du maintien en condition opérationnelle des matériels terrestres), with the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry and GICAT (Groupement des industries françaises de défense et de sécurité terrestres et aéroterrestres), the FED welcomes nearly 200 exhibitors and over 3,000 visitors.
This event provides a platform for exchanges between companies and purchasing and contracting organizations in the defense sector, covering a wide range of sectors. The EDF also offers a real opportunity to deepen mutual knowledge and interaction on the imperatives of efficient and resilient land-based maintenance for the benefit of our Armed Forces, in an ever-changing geopolitical context.
On the program for this edition:
- A new Employment-Training-Youth area will highlight the variety of employment, apprenticeship and training opportunities available in the field of ground maintenance.
- 500 positions a year are available, for civilians and military personnel at all levels, throughout France.
- Innovation in the spotlight, with the final of the "Innovation Jayat" competition. Participating companies and innovators from the Defence sector present projects aimed at shaping the land-based maintenance of today and tomorrow.
- A focus on an industry ready for war, with exchanges, information sharing and forward-looking ideas at the heart of discussions, both on the stands and at the conferences.
- A commitment to solidarity, with the opportunity to support the injured through donations, either on site or via the event's dedicated website.
