The Direction Générale de l'Armement (DGA) has just awarded the SYFRALL (Système de Franchissement Lourd-Léger) contract to the GME comprising CNIM Systèmes Industriels, CEFA and SOFRAME. This contract is part of a framework agreement enabling purchases to be made in the name and on behalf of other nations, notably under the European SAFE (Security for Action For Europe) instrument.
This equipment will provide the engineering regiments with unrivalled door or bridge crossing capacity, for the MLC 85 C and MLC 100R classes.
The latest version of the PFM boasts cutting-edge tactical capabilities, including the ability to negotiate the heaviest vehicles in NATO armies, ease of construction and rapid deployment, and a reduced logistical footprint.
The CNIM Systèmes Industriels - CEFA - SOFRAME partnership, formalized at Eurosatory 2024, offers the French Army and DGA the skills and experience of a 100% France team.
CNIM Systèmes Industriels and CEFA will share the manufacture of the bridge components, while SOFRAME will supply the tractor-trailers and semi-trailers.
