Lyon, September 10, 2024 - A recognized expert in CBRN, Lieutenant-Colonel Laurent Robert will bring his international experience and knowledge of a wide range of fields to reinforce the brand's spirit of innovation, in tune with the needs of response operators.
World leader in latest-generation CBRN (nuclear, radiological, biological and chemical) protection and decontamination systems, OUVRY announces the appointment of Lieutenant-Colonel Laurent Robert to the position of CBRN Expert Advisor, effective September 2, 2024. An engineer by training, Laurent Robert developed his CBRN expertise first with the French army, then with the OPCW (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons) and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
OUVRY has enlisted the technical and operational skills of an expert who, after many years of international experience, knows exactly what is needed in the field. This specialist will be involved from product design through to distribution to security, safety and defense professionals.
Through this recruitment of a high-level CBRN officer, OUVRY is also maintaining a recruitment policy that is attentive to the reconversion of military personnel within companies, as has already been successfully achieved on several occasions. In addition to the skills and experience acquired by these professionals, this choice is in line with the CSR (corporate social responsibility) vision and ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria of the company founded in Lyon in 2003.
