The ETIENNE LACROIX GROUP, founded in 1848, is a leading pyrotechnics company in the defense and security sectors. Its activities are vertically integrated and span from product design to manufacture, and include procurement, support and services.

Vehicle Survivability

Lacroix , in collaboration with Nexter, developed Galix: a passive countermeasures system for land forces. The Galix System hides fighting vehicles from an approaching threat and protects the vehicles, main battle tanks and APCs.

Land Training

For close to two decades, Lacroix has invested itself in developing and providing technical solutions, delivering the most realistic and effective training for troop readiness.

Lacroix is one of the long-standing providers of training solutions to the French Armed Forces – our devices are used in CTC, MOUT, Régiments & Camps.

Our R&D engineers have recently developed a new range of reliable products to provide a real live training and mobility system: SPYTFIRE.

Area Protection System

Lacroix’s SPHINX NT system combines detection and reaction capabilities for area protection (camp, compound, FOB, critical infrastructure, etc.) It benefits from Lacroix’s expertise developed in critical infrastructure, vehicle and ship protection.

Signalling & Pyrotechnics

LACROIX designed a full range of SAR Flares to provide distressed troops, airmen and sailors with a means to report their position by day or night, on land and at sea
