Organizer of Defence and Security events
GICAT’s international influence and that of its members is based on its trade shows and the French Pavilions organized by its commercial subsidiary COGES Events. Specialized in the organization of professional events of international scope in the fields of Defence and Security, it brings together the major players in the market, institutions and a highly qualified visitor base.
Alternating between international trade shows, conferences, business meetings and support for French companies at foreign trade shows, COGES Events takes its mission to help French industry export to heart.
Its four trade fairs, present on three continents, cover all security and defence needs to protect infrastructures and populations, provide technological solutions to armed conflicts, and supply security equipment to public and private entities:
- EUROSATORY: the world’s leading land and airland defence and security exhibition, held in June on even-numbered years at the Paris-Nord-Villepinte exhibition center. The next session will take place from June 17 to 21, 2024.
- SHIELDAFRICA: the leading trade show on the African continent tri-service meets the needs of Security & Defence for a safer Africa.
- EXPODEFENSA: Latin America’s leading Defence and Security Exhibition (tri-service: Land, Air, Sea), which will be held at the CORFERIAS Convention Center in Bogotá, Colombia, from November 27 to 29, 2023.
In addition to these trade shows, COGES Events supports French manufacturers at foreign trade shows by organizing French pavilions.
COGES Events is also developing new activities to offer even more services to the defence and security industry:
